Scientific Fish Collection: A scientific Fish Collection Permit authorizes an organization or individuals to capture or collect fish specimens for scientific and other non-recreational purpose. It is not used for general recreational fishing or for commercial harvest of fish.

Eligibility Requirements
Ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements prior to applying.
Requirement | Description |

Age | Applicant must be at least 19 years old or older. |
Knowledge | Must have read the Reporting Guidelines and fully understand the level of reporting detail that is expected of by the applicant/organization. |
Education/Training | Staff members listed on the permit need to be properly certified for specific sampling methods or activities (e.g., electroshocking). Staff engaged in collection activities need to be qualified and trained for collection activities. |
Workers Compensation Board | Need to comply with Workers Compensation Board Requirements. |
