To simplify the approval process for the aquaculture sector The Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations (FLNR), Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) and Transport Canada (TC) work together to review aquaculture applications.

Aquatic Plant Harvest

An application for the harvesting of aquatic plants for either commercial purposes by an individual or a business, or for research by scientific institutions.

Farmed White Sturgeon Permit

This application is for a Farmed Sturgeon Permit which allows individuals or businesses to apply for a licence to transport and/or hold and sell live farmed sturgeon in British Columbia. There are two permit types: (1) for the transport of live sturgeon to a retail outlet within B.C. and (2) to hold or retain live sturgeon at a restaurant or market within B.C..

An application for an individual or a business that is processing fish, seafood or aquatic plants. Includes processing of fish related to sport fishing businesses.
