Introduction

The FrontCounter BC Water Drawing Tutorial is a series of short how-to videos that will step you through the process of loading the Discovery Tool into Google Earth, and creating a digital file showing the necessary features required for your application.

Please note that specific drawing standards need to be followed and can be be found here. This link is repeated on each of the relevant tutorial screens for your convenience.


Loading Google Earth and the Discovery Tool

This video will step you through the process of loading the Discovery Tool in Google Earth. If you do not have Google Earth loaded on your computer, this video will also direct you to the Google Earth website where you can install a copy of Google Earth on to your computer.

Drawing your Intake, Dwelling and Pumps

This video covers how to draw your Intake Areas, Buildings and Pumps. You are only required to show the building where the water use is happening...for example, if you are using water in a barn for livestock, you need to show the location of your barn.
