Checking Status of Applications

Checking Status of Applications

The length of time to complete an application review will vary and depends upon the complexity of the application, the potential for social and environmental impacts, and the effect the proposal may have on asserted aboriginal rights and interests.

The Ministry recognizes that delays in application processing can be frustrating. At present, we are prioritizing files that align with key government initiatives such as housing, connectivity, electrification, and public health and safety. Applications outside of these areas may experience long wait times.

While we are actively working to improve processing efficiency, our capacity to provide updates on the status of individual applications is limited. This is due to ongoing fiscal constraints and competing priorities. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to serve you better.
