To explore and develop a coal deposit through mechanized means such as underground development, sampling; diamond drilling and may include including a bulk sample.
An activity utilizing Crown land to mine, quarry, remove or store materials (such as soil, peat, sand, gravel rock and natural substances) used for construction purposes.
Explore for minerals through mechanized means, with minimal disturbance to the ground and the environment.
Explore for deposits of placer minerals (e.g., gold. platinum, garnet etc.) through mechanized means or prescribed electric surveys, with minimal disturbance to the ground and the environment.
Quarry construction aggregate, which may include the blasting of rock and primary processing of ore including all industrial minerals.
Quarry industrial mineral or dimension/decorative stone, which may include blasting of mineral rock, and primary processing of ore including all industrial minerals.
Extraction of aggregate which may include: access construction, crushing, screening, washing, blasting, timber cutting. NOTE: If on Crown land, see additional requirements.
